Set (also spelled Seth) is the ancient Egyptian god of chaos, storms, deserts, and disorder. He embodies both destruction and strength. Though infamous for killing his brother Osiris and battling Horus for Egypt’s throne, Set was once revered as a protector of Ra, defending the sun god from the serpent Apep. Over time, he came to symbolize the wild, untamed forces of nature and the eternal struggle between order and chaos.
